This program is designed to teach young athletes the sport of cross country. Taught by Chris Benestad, USA Track and Field Level 2 Certified coach

More Information
  • Cross country and track running involve strength, endurance, power, coordination, and speed. Learn all of these athletic skills while having fun and meeting new training partners.
  • At the end of the program, kids will be able to run faster and further by concentrating on form drills, endurance training, and speed work.
  • Whether kids are training for their first cross country season, getting in shape, or just want to get out and exercise regularly this fall, this program will certainly teach them all about how to run faster and further.
  • This program will also include advice on workouts kids can do on non-meeting days during the eight week program.

9/24 Saturday 2-3pm
9/25 Sunday 9-10am
10/1 Saturday 2-3pm
10/2 Sunday 9-10am *did not run due to rain*
10/9 holiday weekend, no class
10/16, 10/23 and 10/30 2-3pm
11/6, Sunday, 2-3pm make up for 10/2 rain out
