About This Program
  • Build a mini-model telescope to explore far away worlds to colonize.
  • Design a pop-up model of an alien solar system then build a rover to explore one of its rocky planets.
  • Imagine you have to use only the planet’s resources to grow your own food and make your own “papyrus”.
  • Light up your new world as we experiment with glow sticks and learn about luminescence!
  • Design an alien zip line for transportation and build a multistage rocket model to get back home to earth.
  • Run by staff from Wicked Cool for Kids.

Typical Daily Schedule
  • Mornings: 30 minutes of 'Get in the Groove', games and crafts promoting social interaction; 1st hour of activity on the week's topic; 15-30 min snack and free-play break; 2nd hour of activity on the week's topic
  • Lunch Break: 60 minutes for lunch and optional activities
  • Afternoon: 3rd hour of activity on the week's topic; 15-30 minute snack and free play break; 4th hour of activity on the week's topic; Free time to finish projects or play supervised games
