Boxing is a well-known sport that has become a popular fitness trend. Learn to synchronize your feet and hands to discover your own rhythm as you learn the jab, cross and hook with their corresponding weight movements. Our guided shadow boxing (non-contact) and bag drills will help you sharpen your technique while developing punching power.

Boxing: Youth; With or Without and Adult (revised)
Youth and Adult Combo Class. Kids can take this class with or without an adult.
Classes run Monday-Friday, 6-7pm. Take as many classes as you’d like per week/up to 10 classes total for the session. Please allow 24 hours for the Recreation Dept to forward your registration information to the club.

Boxing: Teen and Adult Class (revised)
This class is intended for high school age up to adults. Classes are also available for youth and adult together in our youth programming section. Classes run Mondays-Fridays, classes are 5-6pm and 7- 8pm. Take as many classes as you’d like per week/up to 10 classes total for the session. Please allow 24 hours for the Recreation Dept to forward your registration information to the club.

About the Instructor, Edwin Frias
Edwin Frias is a USA Boxing Coach and Personal Trainer with over 10 years experience training in all levels. As a 30 year veteran of the martial arts, Edwin holds his 4th degree purple belt in Jiu Jitsu, and specializes as a 200RYT yoga instructor. Edwin enjoys utilizing his knowledge in these 4 areas of physical expertise to create fun, engaging, skill based classes for a variety of ages and athletic abilities. Edwin has a passion for art and painting which he incorporates into his personal life via painting and his personally designed clothing brand. As a lululemon ambassador, you can often find Edwin biking and skateboarding his way around Boston's Seaport District.
